Not to sound cliche… focusing on the positive and endearing the positive things to you is essential to make it. Also, having realistic expectations – not too low or too great expectations – is invaluable, for all parties. And always, stay connected with others and have your own healthy outlets. And finally, never give up hope. Recovery is a realistic expectation in time.
